INEOS

Agency: T&P
Role: Design Director

Working closely with my Head of Design, I helped create a comprehensive set of brand guidelines that established a distinctive and flexible visual identity for INEOS Skin Science. Together, we developed the brand’s design principles across typography, colour, photography, layout and digital applications, translating its focus on science and performance into a bold, confident visual language. A key part of the system was the performance grid: a structured yet adaptable framework that creates consistency across formats while allowing layouts to feel energetic and varied. The grid uses strong alignment, scale and purposeful areas of contrast to organise information clearly and give every application a recognisable rhythm.

We also shaped the photography style and wider art direction, combining intimate, human imagery with unexpected perspectives, vivid colour and highly detailed macro photography. This approach allowed the brand to communicate both emotional relevance and scientific innovation, moving confidently between people, products and the natural world. By defining principles for composition, lighting, cropping, subject matter and image treatment, we created a cohesive visual world that could remain consistent across campaigns, packaging, retail environments and digital experiences without becoming overly rigid or repetitive.
